NEW SHOP AT GRANGEWOOD

Last week we opened our new tennis equipment shop adjacent to the Coaches' office.

We now stock the whole range of Fischer rackets in addition to bags, shoes, balls and accessories.

We will shortly be stocking 'Grangewood' T shirts and sweaters both in child and adult sizes.

The shop is open every Saturday and any other time when a member of staff is available.

LEICESTERSHIRE MINI-GREEN COUNTYCHAMPIONSHIP WIN FOR GRANGEWOOD

On 11th November our Mini-Green U 10 team competed in the Leicestershire County Finals after winning every match in the North Leicestershire leagues.

On finals day the opposition came from Hamilton (Melton Mowbray), Hinckley and Kibworth.

The venue was the excellent new indoor centre at Knighton in Leicester.

The team of:  Robbie Grattan, Jake Howlett, Bronte Dufour and Louie Birchnall finished as overall winners of the County title easily beating every other team.

CHILDREN'S TENNIS PARTIES

In the New Year we will again be taking bookings for children's tennis parties.

These are normally held from springtime onwards when hopefully the weather is a little warmer!

The parties consist of a 'fun session' on court followed by the tea party in the clubhouse or outside if the weather is fine.

As we only hold a limited amount of these parties it is necessary to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

For further information please speak to Jo or Alan.

DAYTIME ADULT GROUP COACHING

In the New Year we will be starting new adult groups on a Tuesday and Thursday.

If you are interested in enrolling on a 'beginner' or 'improver' course then please either speak to Jo or email - info@grangewoodtennis.co.uk

DRIVE AND PATIO CLEANING

As you probably know one of our 'offshoot' businesses is a tennis court cleaning service.

This has now progressed to cleaning Drives and Patios.

The specialised high pressure rotary washers removes moss, algae, dirt and grime from Block Paving, Flagstones, Concrete and Tarmac etc. restoring the surface to its 'former glory'.

Please speak to Alan if you require any further information.
