Grangewood Court Tennis was formed in 2002 as an almost unique facility where ‘Children Come First’. 

The centre is privately owned and funded and although LTA Affiliated remains a ‘Truly Independent Centre’.

This self-governing structure allows children to have access to high quality outdoor facilities in a safe rural environment at peak times when club programmes are usually geared around the adults.

Constant assessment is made of all children who take part in our all year round programme.  Groups are formed depending on the age and ability of the player and appropriate competition is provided.

The Coaching programme gives special emphasis to under 10’s tennis and for this age group there are ‘Performance’ and ‘Academy’ squads.

Junior coaching is provided 7 days a week and adult coaching is provided only when the facilities are not required for juniors.
